Connect the gas line. Use a 3/4" wrench to keep the fitting on the gas valve from rotating while
using a 7/8" wrench to screw in the flex tube connection.

Install the log set and coals.
The front log rests on the tabs at
the front of the burner pan.
The back of the front log rests against
the angled portion of the burner pan

We recommend you purge the gas line at this time (with the door open). This allows gas to be
detected once it enters the firebox, ensuring gas does not build up.
