LP Conversion Instructions
Install the conversion kit prior to installing the gas line to ensure proper gas use.

Remove the glass (see page 28). Remove the logs and coals (if installed - page 30)

Remove the burner (see illustration below).

Slide both air shutters all
the way to the right.
Lift slightly on the burner and slide it to the left
so the mixing tubes slide off the orifices.
Make sure this pin inserts
into the hole in the bottom of
the burner when re-installing.

Remove the ember
shelfs. Note: when in
place, there is a gap
between the shelf and
the burner.

Follow the directions below to replace the orifice.
1/2" Wrench
Use a 1/2” open end wrench to
unscrew the burner orifices.
NOTE:
Screw the LP orifice in so the orifice shoulder
protrudes 5/16” (indicating full insertion).

The LP orifices have “55”
stamped on them.
The NG orifices have
“45” stamped on them.
Apply thread sealant to
the new orifice and
install.
