Troubleshooting
The compressor noise is too high
Possible Cause
Handling Method
(1) The parts inside the compressor are damaged or broken (the
compressor makes a tap-tap).
(2) Liquid backflow.
(3) There is liquid refrigerant in the compressor when starting (the
compressor housing is unusually cold).
Replace the compressor.
Inspect and adjust the superheat.
Inspect whether the refrigerant is charged
excessively.
The refrigerating capacity is not enough
Possible Cause
Handling Method
(1) The refrigerant is charged insufficiently (the superheating or sub-
cooling capacity is not enough).
Supplement the refrigerant.
(2) The drying filter is blocked (the temperature from the refrigerant
pipe to the dryer varies).
Replace the drying filter.
(3) The expansion valve is incorrectly adjusted.
Readjust the expansion valve.
(4) The expansion valve is blocked (the superheat is too high and the
water temperature is too high).
Repair or replace the expansion valve.
(5) The water flow of the evaporator is too low.
Inspect the filter screen, and adjust the water
flow.
(6) There is noncondensing gas in the system.
Recharge the refrigerant after the system is
vacuumized.
(7) The valve of the compressor leaks and the suction pressure is high
(the high pressure is high, and the low pressure is low).
Replace the compressor.
The suction pressure is too low
Possible Cause
Handling Method
(1) The refrigerant is charged insufficiently (the superheating capacity is
high and the sub-cooling capacity is low).
Find out and repair the leakage point, and
recharge the refrigerant.
(2) The temperature switch setting is too low (the low pressure is too
low, and the water outlet temperature is too low).
Readjust the temperature switch.
(3) The chilled water flow is too low.
Inspect whether the filter screen is blocked
and whether the balance valve is set correctly.
(4) The drying filter is blocked.
Inspect whether the drying filter is frosted.
Replace it if necessary.
(5) The expansion valve is blocked (the superheating capacity is high). Clean or replace the expansion valve.
