Slide the Keder handle towards the coaming:

• Begin closing with no tension in jacks (ready

position) .

• If it feels too tight

ADD tension in gunwale jacks .

• To decrease the “bunching” of the material close to

the Keder, add tension (6 - 10 jacks) on each gunwale

jack until the Keder closing is lined up .

•

DROP the pin on the Keder strip into the hole at the

back of the coaming to lock in place .

Close the Keder System.

CHECKPOINT: Keder is closed.
