• The elastic tab on the shoulder straps must be pulled over the buckle each time the MilaMai
is worn. Thread the excess length of the belt strap through the elastic tab as well. This en—
sures safety in case a buckle accidentally comes unfastened.
• Always tighten the belt straps of your MilaMai carrier in the direction of the buckle and
along the extension of the shoulder strap. This protects the buckle and makes tightening
easier.
• The belt strap that runs under the child’s bottom must always be guided UNDER the child’s
legs and never over them.
• If you have never worn a baby carrier before, have someone else help you the first time
you try it out.
• Only take your hands off the child when he or she is securely seated in the MilaMai carrier,
the buckles are fastened and secured with the elastic safety tabs, and all belt straps are
tightened.
• Once you feel that you no longer have to hold the baby with your hands, you know that
MilaMai is securely and properly in place. If you bend forward, the carrier should not slide
more than one or two centimetres away from you.
• These instructions apply exclusively to MilaMai.
• Please note that it is necessary to follow each of the steps in these instructions for use.
• We provide no guarantee against defects caused by improper handling of the MilaMai
carrier (such as incorrect washing or carrying persons who are too heavy).
