Manage  the  Range  Extender

Status LED Control 

You can conveniently turn off and on the Status LEDs (Power, 2.4GHz, and 
5GHz) by pressing the LED button on the extender. However, the LEDs can 
also be set to turn off and on at a specific time every day. 

 

To set the time to turn off and on the LEDs: 

1)

 

Launch a web browser and type: 

http://tplinkrepeater.net

 in the URL 

field, then log in using the admin credentials. 

2)

 

Go to 

Settings > System Tools > LED Control

. 

 

3)

 

Select 

Night Mode

 to enable the LED Control feature. 

4)

 

Under 

LED Off Time

, select the time range (from and to) during which the 

LEDs will be off in 24-hour time. 

5)

 

Click 

  to apply your settings. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Before enabling the Night Mode feature, make sure that the 

extender’s time zone is set to your proper time zone under 

Settings > System Tools > Time Settings

.
