Control Panel:
1. Remove the parts from the packaging.
2. Prior to initial use, wash the grill surface in warm soapy water and dry
thoroughly.
CAUTION!
Remove the grill plates (see the Cleaning and Care section on page 17)
before washing. DO NOT wash any part of the appliance other than the grill plates,
as this could lead to unit malfunction or injury.
3. When the surface is fully dry, gently rub the plates with a soft cloth soaked in a
little olive oil to condition them.
4. Your appliance is now ready for normal use.
5. Dispose of the packaging in a responsible manner.
Note:
When the appliance is first turned on, a small amount of smoke may emit
from the plates. This is due to residue from the manufacturing process burning off
from the appliance, and should stop after a short while.

The drip tray comes pre-fitted into the unit.
