INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1) Unscrew the bolt on the drain piece. Remove the drain grate and gasket from
the finished parts bag. Add the plumber’s putty and install the drain as shown.
N OTE: Make sure that the bath tub floor and drain hole are clean and free of
burrs and debris. Make sure the gasket under the drain grill is present and
flat, not twisted. Remove any excess putty from around the drain.
2) Remove the center nut from the overflow. Remove the overflow grate. Place
the overflow on the outside of the bath and the overflow grate on the inside
of the bath and re-tighten with the nut. Hand-tighten the nut plus a quarter
turn with a wrench.
N OTE: Make sure the gasket is present and undamaged.
3) Test fit the T-connection onto the pipes to test the length. The pipe should
extend at least 1” (25 mm) into the connection. If it is too long, cut the pipe
to fit. Clean the cut edge with a sharp knife.
N OTE: The T-junction may be installed for standard (vertical) or above floor
(horizontal) exit. For above floor (horizontal) exit, be sure to add an angle
(incline) to assure that the water flows away from the bath.
