2 Troubleshooting Procedures

Satellite Pro S300, TECRA A10/S10/P10 Maintenance Manual (960-684) [CONFIDENTIAL]

DC IN icon

Power supply status

Lights blue

DC power is being supplied from the AC adapter.

Blinks orange

Power supply malfunction

Doesn’t light

Any condition other than those above.

*1 When the power supply controller detects a malfunction, the DC IN icon blinks

orange. It shows an error code.

When the icon is blinking, perform the following procedure.

Remove the battery pack and the AC adapter.

Re-attach the battery pack and the AC adapter.

If the icon is still blinking after the operation above, check the followings:

Check 1 If the DC IN icon blinks orange, go to Procedure 2.

Check 2 If the DC IN icon does not light, go to Procedure 3.

Check 3 If the battery icon does not light orange or blue, go to Procedure 4.

NOTE: Use a supplied AC adapter G71C0002R710, G71C0002R810 (2-pin)/

G71C00067210, G71C00067110 (3-pin).
