Top Cover
Removing the Top Cover
To remove the T1900/T1900C’s top cover, follow the steps below and refer to Figures 4-5
and 4-6.
1.
Turn off the power to the T1900/T1900C, and, if attached, disconnect the AC
adapter, power cord and all external cables connected to the computer.
2.
Remove the battery pack, optional memory card and optional PCMCIA card as
described in Sections 4.2, 4.3, and 4.4.
3.
At the back of the computer, remove the
four M2.5x6 silver screws
securing the
top cover
(Figure 4-5).

Turn the computer so the front faces you and open the display. Lay the display back
fully. (Put a book or small box behind the display to support it.)
