Optional PCMCIA Card
Removing an Optional PCMCIA Card
The T4900CT has two PCMCIA slots: one for a card up to 5.0 mm (slot 2) and one for a card
up to 16 mm (slot 1). To remove optional PCMCIA cards, follow the steps below and refer
to figures 4-4 through 4-6:
1.
Turn off the power to the T4900CT. Disconnect the AC adapter, power cord, and
all external cables connected to the T4900CT.
2.
Remove the battery pack as described in section 4.2.
3.
To remove a card from the PCMCIA card slot 2 (center), pull up the slot
cover
to
expose the card.
4.
Push the
eject button
to pop the card slightly out, then grasp the card and pull it
completely out (figure 4-4).

5.
To remove a card from the PCMCIA card slot 1, slip your fingernail or a thin
object under the
notch
at the top of the cover and snap off the cover (figure 4-5).
