6-3. Creating and uploading a setting file for Smart Manager

Before creating a setting file, check the content to be displayed on the Web browser, addresses of the air 
conditioner and optional interface, and specifications of the external connection device, and then create an address 
sheet. Create a setting file based on the data and upload the data for Smart Manager to the unit.

Follow the procedure below:

1

Set the building name.

2

Set the number of air conditioners.

3

Select a language to be used.

4

Set the use of optional devices. (Number of units, functions, setting values, etc.)

5

Set “Floor”, “Tenant”, “Area”, and air conditioner information displayed on the Web browser.

6

Set the address information on the air conditioners (indoor unit, outdoor unit).

7

Link the air conditioner to the optional device.

8

Enter all data, and then output a DEF file.

9

Change the IP address of the computer.
The factory setting of the IP address is 192.168.2.30. The IP address of the computer needs to be 
changed to 192.168.2.*** (except 30). If the IP address has been changed with Smart Manager, the 
first three bytes must be the same, and the last byte must be different.

10

Use the upload function to upload data.

11

If the upload is completed successfully, the test run preparation is complete.
