4.11 LCD Unit

NOTE: Need to handle softly during disassembly and assembly LCD units specially LCD
Mask.

Removing the LCD Unit

The following describes the procedure for removing the LCD Unit (See Figure 4-11-1 to 4-
11-3).

1. Remove Screw MYLAR x4

2. Remove the following screws M2.0

2.5-I(BNI) x4PCS

3. Insert your finger between the edge of the display mask and the LCD, and remove the

display mask while releasing the latches of display mask.

4. Remove the following screws securing the LCD Unit, and disconnect CCD FPC

5. Remove the LCD Unit; disconnect LCD cable from connector on the back of LCD.
