Media control buttons
The control buttons located to the right of the keyboard let
you play audio CDs when the computer is off. You can also
use them to play CDs and DVDs when the computer is on.

The
Music CD
button activates an audio CD playing
application that can play audio CDs when the computer is
powered off.
The following chart describes the Music CD button
functionality.
The
previous track
button returns to the preceding track on
the disc.
Power is off and you
press the Music CD
button
If a CD is in the drive, the system
operates as a stand-alone CD player.
Operating system is
running and you
press the Music CD
button
If a CD is in the drive, the Windows
Media
®
Player starts and the audio
CD begins to play.
If a DVD is in the drive, WinDVD™
starts and the DVD begins to play.
