4 Replacement Procedures

Satellite L550 Maintenance Manual

1. Reapply Shinetsu 7762 grease on the thermal module as shown in Figure 4.31. If you use

a new thermal module, remove any release papers from the thermal pads first.

NOTE:

When thermal pad needs to be changed, please paste it in the location indicated in

Figure 4.31.

2. Seat the VGA board on the motherboard and secure it with two M2.5x4 screws.

3. Seat the thermal module in the correct position on the motherboard and secure it with six

spring screws according to the number sequence sealed on the thermal module.
