Display Assembly

Removing the Display Assembly

CAUTION:

Use care to avoid the antenna cable being caught between the display assembly

and the laptop.

Remove the display assembly according to the following procedures and Figures 4.19 and 4.20.

1. Remove four M2.5x6 screws from the left and right side which secure the display

assembly to the laptop.

2. Detach the following connectors from the motherboard: one LVDS cable, one fan cable,

one camera cable, one microphone cable and WiFi antennas.

3. Remove the display assembly from the logic lower assembly.
