4 Replacement Procedures

Satellite L550 Maintenance Manual

4. Remove two M2.5x4 screws that secure the hinge brackets to the logic lower assembly.

Figure 4.20 Removing the hinge brackets

5. Remove the left and right hinge brackets from the logic lower assembly.

Installing the Display Assembly

Install the display assembly according to the following procedures.

1. Place the hinge brackets in the correct position on the logic lower assembly.

2. Secure the hinge brackets with two M2.5x4 screws.

3. Place the display assembly in the correct position.

4. Secure the display assembly with four M2.5x6 screws and attach the LVDS cable to the

motherboard.

5. Attach all the connectors to the motherboard as indicated in Figure 4.19.
