Date & Time Setup
This section allows the user to configure the RemotEye® ESS internal clock. To change, go to "Current
Time & Date Settings" under the "System" menu on the settings page. Enter the appropriate date and time
as specified on the page. Once complete, the settings will be automatically saved.
Network Settings and Ethernet Configurations
This section lets the user configure IPv4 settings, enable/disable network protocols, and modify system
name information. To change any of these settings requires the user to be logged in as an administrator.
Network Settings
This section allows enabling/disabling network-specific protocols. To access this section, login as an
administrator and go to the "Settings/System" page.
SSH
– This allows access to the RemotEye ESS console menu via SSH.
Network Upgrade - This allows the user to perform a firmware upgrade via the network. For more details
on performing firmware upgrade, go to "Firmware Upgrade" section.
UPnP Control - Universal Plug and Play allows easy discovery of the device when scanning the network
where RemotEye® ESS is located.
Ethernet Configurations
This section allows the user to view the device MAC address and modify IPv4 settings. Once changes are
made, click the "Save" button to save.
DHCP Control - This allows RemotEye® ESS to send an ARP broadcast message. If using a static IP
address, disable this setting.
