3. Enter an IP address to add a trap receiver. Up to 8 trap receivers can be added.
4. Select the trap receiver version. The setting options are "v1", "v2c", and "v3".
5. Enter a community string for SNMPv1/v2c. For SNMPv3, the community string must be one of the
usernames on the "SNMPv3 User Table" in the SNMP Protocol section. Also, a new username can be
added here. Note: The RemotEye® ESS can only store up to 8 SNMPv3 usernames.
6. Select the trap type. The setting options are "None" and "TOSHIBA". If "None" is selected, traps are not
sent. If "TOSHIBA" is selected, traps are received based on the Toshiba mib.
7. Select the trap severity level. The setting options are "All", "Warning/Faults", and "Fault". "All" will send
all the traps with all event types. "Warning/Faults" will only send traps with warning or fault events. "Fault"
will only send traps with fault events.
8. Enter a reference note to identify the trap receiver. This field is optional.
9. Click the "Save" button to save the settings.
10. Click the "Test Trap" button to send a trap test to confirm the settings.
HTTPS Setup:
HTTPS Protocol is supported in firmware version v2.0.0.2 and above.
1. Login to become an Administrator and go to the settings page by clicking the "gear" icon on the top
navigation bar.
2. Go to the "Home" tab of the "HTTPS" section within the "Settings/Security" menu.
3. Enable the "HTTPS Protocol" using the toggle.
4. Enter an integer for "HTTPS Port Number". By default, "HTTPS Port Number" is set to "443".
5. Click "Enforce HTTPS" to disable "HTTP Protocol" and enable "HTTPS Protocol". This step is optional.
6. Click the "Save" button to save the settings.
NOTE: When using HTTPS protocol, you can generate a self-signed certificate or follow the instructions to
install and use your custom SSL certificates from a trusted certificate authority.
