(2) Left-hand connection with piping
When the piping runs to the left, be sure to use a tool
such as a pipe bender to bend the pipe.
Note:
• If the pipe is bent incorrectly, the air conditioner
could be raised.

(1) When the piping runs to the left, remove the left
side body bushing of the rear panel. You may
need the body bushing when you relocate the unit,
so be sure make the customer keep it in a safe
place.
(2) After passing the connection pipe through the pipe
hole, connect the connection pipe to the auxiliary
pipes and wrap covering tape around them.
(3) For left-hand connection with piping, bend the
pipes as shown in Fig. 3-11.

Note:
• Bend the connection pipe so that the distance
between the pipe and the wall be 43 mm or less.

3-2-1. Pipe Cutting
(1) Cut the pipe little by little advancing the blade of
pipe cutter slowly.

Note:
• For fine work, do not advance the blade by force
in order to prevent distortion of the pipe, and ex-
tra burrs.
• Cut the pipe a little longer than required.

(1) Raise burrs with the burr stick or the burr remover.
(Hold the flaring end down to prevent burrs from
dropping inside pipe)
