Replacement Procedures

4.15 Touch pad

Removing the touch pad

The following describes the procedure for removing the touch pad (See Figure 4-15-1 to 4-
15-3).

Peel off the

glass tape

and disconnect the

touch pad flat cable, Fingerprint cable

from the connector on the touch pad.

Remove the following

screws

securing the touch pad plate.



touch pad board and touch pad plate

Peel off and remove the

touch pad

from the top cover assembly.
