Press the [FAX] button on
the control panel.

y "COVER SHEET" screen

Select “1. TRANSMIT”

and press the [ENTER] but-
ton.

Enter a remote name and
press the [ENTER] button.
y You can omit a remote name if
unnecessary. In this case, simply
press the [ENTER] button with-
out entering a remote name.
y For a remote name, up to 20
characters can be entered.
y Character entry ( P.151 “But-
tons and Keys used for Charac-
ter Entry”)
y When you perform multi-address
transmission, the same cover
sheet will be attached to the doc-
ument for every address. In this
case, therefore, it is recom-
mended that you should omit a
remote name.
y To cancel this function, press the
[FUNCTION CLEAR] button to
return to the Fax basic screen.
