40 Clearing a Staple Jam

Close the lower front cover of the finisher.

Test stapling starts automatically.

Test stapling is necessary to prevent void stapling. Note that the test stapling starts automatically
when the two requirements in step 11 are met with the lower cover of the Saddle Stitch Finisher
closed. If the test stapling does not start, make sure to check the two requirements again. Then
open and again close the lower cover of the Saddle Stitch Finisher.
