(6) Drain valve

1) Put down the machine to the front.
2) Remove the valve spring from the drain
valve connector with a long-nose pliers.

3) Remove 2 screws securing the drain valve
motor, and disconnect the lead wires
(brown, gray and red) from the each
terminals.

3) Remove the drain valve turning
counterclockise with the removal jig (service
part 42T65034 is provided).
Apply a towel under the valve to prevent the
water from the valve splashing over the motor.
Note 1 : Spread a blanket on the floor and put the
machine on it. Then a little water may
flow out from the machine. It is the water
remaining in the drain and not a defect.
* Follow the reverse order of removal.
Note 1 : Make sure not to confuse the position of
the lead wire. (If the position is not
correct, the drain valve may not activate
or the drain function may not work.)

* Follow the reverse order of removal.
Note 1 : The valve cap must be tightened
completely when attaching to prevent
water leakage.
Note 2 : Use the adhesive (type hardren 17) for
bonding the drain hose. Take care so
that the adhesive may not flow into the
hose inside.
CAUTION
x Before starting washing, open the faucet and check that the water supply hose joint is
not loose and no water leake.
The loose screw or hose joint may cause water leakage resulting in an unexpected damage.
