Getting started
TV front, control and side panel
• You can operate your TV using the buttons on the TV control panel or the remote control. The back and side of the
panel provide the terminal connections to connect other equipment to your TV (
“Connecting your TV” page
34).
1 Timer LED —
Green LED:
On Timer/EPG Timer On.

/ I Power LED —
Red LED: Standby; Green LED:
Power On.
3 Input —
Point the remote control toward this remote
sensor (
page 7).

/ I Power —
Press to turn the TV on/standby.

(Programme position) —
When no menu
is on the screen, these buttons select the programme
position
.

(Volume) —
When no menu is on the screen,
these buttons adjust the volume level.
7 Menu —
Press to access the TV on-screen menu.
8 Input source selection —
When no menu is on
the screen, this button selects the input source.

(Arrows) —
When a TV menu is on the
screen, these buttons function as up/down/left/right
menu navigation buttons or adjust settings.
10 OK —
When a TV menu is on the screen, this button
functions as the next menu navigation button.
11 AV terminal —
Standard (composite) video and
standard audio inputs.
12 USB —
USB port. Connect your USB storage device
for multimedia playback. Also served for software
upgrade.
13 Headphone jack —
For use with headphones.
Note:
When the Headphone jack is being used, the
sound from all speakers will be muted, and normal
sound will be output to the headphones only
.
14 HDMI —
High
quality video and audio input.
