(5) Explanations
(a) Reset request
• Set a DeviceNet module channel number, unit number, and slot number for
the variables CH, UNIT, and SLOT. (The same setting process is repeated
many times, so if a module position is changed, the settings can be changed
collectively.
• CLR_SL is set to 1 to clear the scan list.
• START functions as a start relay for the entire program, turning RESET
TRUE 3 seconds after power is switched on and starting an initialize request.
• DONE becomes TRUE upon completion of initializing, turning END_RESET
TRUE.
(b) Parameter setting request (Local node)
• Upon completion of reset processing, END_RESET becomes TRUE, turning
the start relay LOCAL_SET for the local node parameter setting request
TRUE to start operation. The values shown in the table below are entered for
parameter setting PARA_LOCAL.
• Values for CH, UNIT, and SLOT are entered using the variables (CH, UNIT,
SLOT) set by a reset request.
• After operation mode control request processing is completed, the end confir-
mation coil END_LOCALSET turns TRUE.
(c) Parameter setting request (Slave device)
• When a local node parameter setting request is completed,
END_LOCALSET becomes TRUE, turning the start relay SLAVESET for the
slave parameter setting request TRUE and starting operation.
The values shown in the table below are entered for parameter setting
PARA_SLAVE.
