24.- APPLY DISCOUNTS.
This function allows the user apply discounts to the products they’re selling:
To apply a discount there must be at least 2 products on list
to sell.
Press the –D/DEV PLU key.
By using the arrows keys, you can either
choose the discount to apply or select to
cancel the sale.
On both cases press ENTER to finish the
operation.
Choose with the arrow keys the product you
want the discount to be applied
maximum of 99% and press ENTER.
Then press the percentage to be applied on the sale.
And press ENTER.
Type on the password and then press
ENTER for the discount to be applied, once
done this, the scale will show the discount at the end of the sale on display.
To finish the operation, press the PRINT key to get the ticket with the sale and
discount already applied on it.
Note: The discount applies only to products not to the total to pay.
