 Z Master 7500-D Series Service Manual

CHASSIS

Chassis

Roll Over Protection System (ROPS) (Cont.)

Installation

1. Install the lower ROPS tubes onto the machine.

2. Install the four lower bolts securing the lower ROPS tubes to the machine. Torque to 100-110 ft-lbs. (135-149 

Nm).

3. Install the four upper bolts securing the lower ROPS tubes to the machine. Torque to 100-110 ft-lbs. (135-149 

Nm).

4. Install the two  spacers, one on each side, in the hole for the lower ROPS.

NOTE: Will need assistance to continue.

5. Lift the ROPS onto the machine, in the down position.

6. Install the two carriage bolts, one on each side. 

7. Lift the ROPS to the upward position.

8. Connect the vent lines to the upper ROPS tube on both sides of the machine.

9. Place the heat deflector panel onto the machine.

10. Install three tree clips securing the heat deflector panel to the machine. 

11. Install the wire harness retainer to the heat deflector panel using three zip ties.

12. Install the hood onto the machine, 

see “Engine Cover Installation,” chapter 5, page 5-41.

13. Flip the operator’s seat down and slide into position.
