The starter does not crank.
1. The range selector is in a gear
other than Neutral.

move the range selector to the
Neutral position.
2. The electrical connections are
corroded or loose.
2. Check the electrical
connections for good contact.
3. A fuse is blown or loose.
3. Correct or replace fuse.
4. The battery is discharged.
4. Charge or replace the battery.
5. The safety interlock system is
malfunctioning.

4. The spark plug lead is
disconnected.
