Installing the Guard
Parts needed for this procedure:
1 Guard
Procedure
1. Remove the 2 socket head screws, 2 washers, and 2 spacers from the trimmer base (A of Figure 3 ).
2. Align the guard onto the trimmer base (B of Figure 3 ).
3. Secure the guard onto the base of the trimmer with the 2 socket head screws, 2 washers, and 2 spacers
previously removed (C of
Figure 3 ).

Installing the Edge Guard
Parts needed for this procedure:
1 Wire edge guard
Procedure
Slightly spread the ends of the wire edge guard apart
and then insert the ends into the holes in the trimmer
housing as shown in
Figure 4 .
