Installing the Guard
Parts needed for this procedure:
1 Guard
1 Phillips screw
Procedure
1. Remove the Phillips screw that is taped to the guard ( Figure
2 ).
2. Slide the guard onto the trimmer base as shown in Figure 2 .

3. Secure the guard using a Phillips screw.

Installing the Edge Guard
Parts needed for this procedure:
1 Wire edge guard
Procedure
Insert the ends of the wire edge guard into the holes in the trimmer
housing as shown in
Figure 3 .
