Preparing the Machine
No Parts Required
Procedure
CAUTION
If you leave the key in the ignition switch, someone
could accidently start the engine and seriously
injure you or other bystanders.
Remove the key from the ignition switch before you
install the kit.
1. Move the machine to a level surface (A and B of Figure
1 ).

2. Lower the outer-boom sections (C and D of Figure 1 ).
3. Set the parking brake (E of Figure 1 ).
4. Shut off the engine (F of Figure 1 ).
5. Remove the key from the key switch before leaving the
machine (G of
Figure 1 ).

Preparing the Center-Boom
Cover (for an 11-Nozzle
Assembly)
Parts needed for this procedure:
1 11-nozzle, center-boom cover
1 Rubber cover
1 Reinforcement plate
11 Pop rivet (3/16 x 1/2 inch)
11 Washer (3/16 inch)
Procedure
Note:
One side of the center-boom cover is already attached,
so you only need to install on 1 side of the cover.
1. Align the holes on the rubber cover with the holes on
the center-boom cover (
