Fuel Valve
The fuel valve (
) is located underneath the
choke lever. Move the lever for the fuel valve to the
O
N
position before attempting to start the engine.
When you have finished using the machine, shut off
the engine and move the fuel-valve lever to the O
FF
position.
Choke Lever
Use the choke lever (
) to start a cold engine.
Before pulling the recoil-start handle, move the choke
lever to the C
LOSED
position. Once the engine is
running, move the choke lever to the O
PEN
position.
Do not use the choke if the engine is already warmed
up or if the air temperature is high.
Throttle Lever
The throttle lever (
) controls the speed (rpm)
of the engine. It is located next to the choke lever.
