Activating and Charging
the Battery

Use only electrolyte (1.265 specific gravity) to fill the
battery initially.

When removing or installing the battery,
do not allow the battery terminals to touch
any metal parts of the tractor.

the battery terminals and metal parts of the
tractor.

Remove the fasteners and battery clamp and
lift out the battery.
Important:
Do not add electrolyte while the
battery is in the machine. You could spill it,
causing corrosion.

Clean the top of the battery and remove the vent
caps (
