MAINTENANCE
Solution Pump Intake Filter
NOTE: A dirty or clogged filter will greatly
reduce cleaning solution flow, and decrease the
ability of the machine to clean floors properly!
Do not remove or modify this filter element, as it
protects the Solution Pump from potential
damage.
Inspect the Solution Filter periodically as
follows:
1. Grip the main body and turn the front-
facing wings counterclockwise. The two
components will separate to expose the
mesh filter element inside.
2. Carefully clean the filter element, or
replace it.
3. Reassemble the two halves.
Solution and Recovery (Vacuum)
Tanks
The Recovery Tank System Features:
The Recovery Tank is depressurized by the
Vacuum Motor, and pulls spent solution and
debris from the Squeegee into its interior. A
stand pipe prevents water intake into the Vac
Motor, and a Float Sensor prevents Vac Motor
operation once the Recovery Tank is full.
Draining the Recovery Tank:
1. Position the machine at a floor drain or
other drain area.
2. Remove the drain hose from its clamp on the Brush Housing, and lift it high.
3. Unscrew the wing nut at the hose end until the plug becomes loose and can be pulled
out. Be careful to remove only the plug, not the metal tube surrounding it.
4. Lower the hose and insert the end into the waste receptacle.
5. Once the flow stops, replace the plug and stow the hose back into position.
