Locate, remove and discard the two screws on the side of
the spindle head as shown in Figure 17. New bolts are
supplied with the coolant tank assembly
. Note these
screws may be painted heavy and hard to see!!
Connect the Plastic Coolant Tube(6) to the Connecting
Tube (4); Place the Connecting Tube (4) into the
Support (5); Fasten the Nut on the Flexible Tube (1) to
the Connecting Tube (4); Use the Cap Screws (8) to fix
the Support (5) to the Mill Head (9). Finally tighten the
Screw (7) to fix the Connecting Tube (4). The completed
assembly is shown Figure 18.
The coolant pump is mounted on the top of the coolant tank as
shown in 19. Use Teflon tape on the connection. Note that the
coolant pump is dual voltage (110VAC/220VAC). The pump is
shipped with the wiring configured for 110 VAC. If the pump is to be
used with 220 VAC unscrew the electrical pump cover plate and
re-wire the pump per the diagram on the inside of the lid.
