Automatic function follows a predefined logic. When it
rains, the two rain sensors installed send the control unit
the automatic closure control, via the actuator. After
receiving the closure signal, the control unit inhibits the
signal for about 10 minutes, during which a manual
opening of the motor (forced opening) can be made. After
that time, if the sensors are still active, the actuator will
receive the automatic closure command again,
otherwise it will remain open.
Alternatively to the sensors installed on the machine, it is
possible to request, in your order, preparation of the
C130/RR for connection to an outdoor rain sensor model
RD/12V or a key with “0” central position and control
requiring the presence of an operator.
Connection of the C130/RR to outside control units (such
as TF units) is prohibited.

RESETTING C130/RR
7.2
TR8 RADIO CONTROL
The radio control device mod. TR8 (
Fig.44
) controls the
motor connected to the C130/RR manually via radio
transmission. To enable the radio control for use the
central RR receiver installed inside the actuator must be
able to receive it; recognition is made through a simple
programming operation.
@
The TR8 radio control device is equipped with 4 pairs
of keys, each of which consists of a smooth key and
a knurled key. During programming, decide which
pair of keys to use to control the actuator connected
to the control unit.
@
Before programming the radio control device, reset
the RR control unit inside the actuator as described
in section
7.3
.
To reset the RR installed inside the actuator and disable
the programmed radio control devices, proceed as
follows:
%
Make sure the actuator is powered;
%
Place the bottom casing of the radio control on the
programming point of the actuator market with a stamp
as shown in
Fig.45
;
F
If the radio control unit has been positioned correctly,
after about 2 seconds, it starts the programming
process.
F
The C130 performs an opening maneuver for 4
seconds, followed by a very brief closing maneuver.
After about 7 seconds, the motor performs 4 more
very brief closing maneuvers.
%
Move the radio control away from the actuator;
%
The memory has been erased.
@
Perform this procedure before programming the radio
control device.
7.4
PROGRAMMING THE
RADIO CONTROL DEVICE
To program and enable a radio control device for use,
proceed as follows:
%
Make sure the actuator is powered;
%
Place the back of the radio control on the actuator at
To operate the actuator in jog mode with the first pair of
keys (key 1 smooth - key 2 knurled) on the radio control
previously enabled in the programming stage, proceed
as follows:
%
press the smooth key (key 1) on the radio control
device to send the open signal to the actuator;
%
press the knurled key (key 2) to send the stop signal
to the actuator (only if you wish to interrupt the
actuator stroke before it reaches the limit switch);
%
press the knurled key (key 2) to send the closure
signal;
%
press the smooth key (key 1) to send the stop signal
(only if you wish to interrupt the actuator stroke before
it reaches the limit switch).
@
In radio mode the minimum range is about 10-20
meters depending on the shape of the room in
which the RR unit is located and charged status of
the batteries.
7.5
USE OF THE RADIO CONTROL UNIT
the programming point, marked with a stamp (
Fig.45
);
F
If the radio control unit has been positioned
correctly, after about 2 seconds, it starts the
programming process.
F
The C130 performs an opening maneuver for 4
seconds, followed by a very brief closing maneuver.
%
move the radio control away from the C130;
%
press the smooth key of the pair of keys on the radio
control device that you want to enable (e.g. key 1);
F
The actuator performs 2 very brief closing
maneuvers to confirm receipt of the signal.
%
press the knurled key of the pair of keys on the radio
control device that you want to enable (e.g. key 2);
F
The actuator performs 3 brief closing maneuvers.
%
the radio control device is enabled to control opening
of the C130 connected to the unit using the first pair of
keys (keys 1 and 2).
@
The programming stage is complete when the
receiver does not receive a valid code within about
30 seconds.
@
Every receiver can memorize up to 6 radio control
units
@
Every radio control unit can be programmed and
used to control several C130 actuators using the
pair of keys selected during programming.
