Setting
Description
Temp offset
Make an offset adjustment if for example you use a different
soldering tip. This function is not a substitute for calibration.
• If the temperature (measured with external instrument) at the tip is:
- Lower than temperature shown on the display: Adjust the offset to a
positive value to make up difference.
-
Higher than temperature shown on the display: Adjust the offset to
a negative value to make up the difference.
• Temperature offset range: ±30 ºC (±54 ºF).
• Default = 0.
Stdby temp
• When a channel enters standby mode, heating will adjust to the tem-
perature set here.
• Press any button or move the handle to exit this mode.
• Default = 200 ºC (392 ºF).
Stdby Delay
Setting standby delay to OFF will also switch the shutdown
delay OFF. Any shutdown delay settings will be overridden.
• The station will enter standby mode if no activity of the handle or but-
tons are detected for the set standby delay.
• Press any button or move the handle to exit this mode.
•
Disable standby by setting to "OFF".
• Default = 5 mins.
Shtdown delay
•
Disable the shutdown by setting to "OFF".
• Default = 10 mins.
Shortcut T1
• If a shortcut temperature is set outside the 150 ºC "MIN" to 480 ºC
"MAX" (302 to 896 ºF) temperature range, the station will accept the
adjustment, but the shortcut will adjust to the nearest MIN/MAX tem-
perature parameter.
• Default = 270 ºC (518 ºF).
Shortcut T2
• If a shortcut temperature is set outside the 150 ºC "MIN" to 480 ºC
"MAX" (302 to 896 ºF) temperature range, the station will accept the
adjustment, but the shortcut will adjust to the nearest MIN/MAX tem-
perature parameter.
• Default = 350 ºC (662 ºF).
Shortcut T3
• If a shortcut temperature is set outside the 150 ºC "MIN" to 480 ºC
"MAX" (302 to 896 ºF) temperature range, the station will accept the
adjustment, but the shortcut will adjust to the nearest MIN/MAX tem-
perature parameter.
• Default = 480 ºC (896 ºF).
Fix Temp
• You will not be able to adjust the operating temperature if you set a
fixed temperature.
• The soldering station will override any temperature adjustments/set-
tings to maintain the fixed temperature value set for a channel.
•
Default = OFF.
MIN Temp
• Within the 150 ºC "MIN" to 480 ºC "MAX" (302 to 896 ºF) temperature
range, a minimum temperature can be set.
• Temperature adjustments or settings cannot be set below this value.
• Default = 200 ºC (392 ºF).
MAX Temp
• Within the 150 ºC "MIN" to 480 ºC "MAX" (302 to 896 ºF) temperature
range, a maximum temperature can be set.
• Temperature adjustments or settings cannot be set above this value.
• Default = 480 ºC (896 ºF).
Legacy Hnd.
• This station has limited support for some older analog/digital handset
models.
• If your handle is not detected automatically upon connection, set the
correct handle here.
• Available settings are: 50 W, 80 W, 100 W.
