6. FIRING THE STOVE
Set aside enough firewood, firelighters, kindling, and matches. Now open the firing
chamber door by pushing the door handle to the left. Holding the door open with
one hand, place the firewood in the combustion chamber so that it leans slightly
backwards. The first row of firewood should touch the rear wall of the combustion
chamber. Now add the remaining firewood so that there is a gap of about 2 cm from
the side walls of the combustion chamber. The front ash shield may not be covered
with wood. We recommend charging the stove with about 1 kg or about six pieces
of firewood 33 cm long
Now ignite the firelighter.
Release the firing chamber door.
The firing chamber door closes and locks automatically.
The wood burns from top to bottom.
The firewood burns for up to two hours.
When the firewood has burned down and there are only embers left in the firing
chamber, the automatic air flap closes audibly.
IMPORTANT!
Do not open the door to the combustion chamber while the fire is still burning and
the embers are still hot.
The flow of hot air heats
the convection module.
Please use the glove when
operating the stove.
!
A defect door gasket can cause flue gas to leak into the
living space and jeopardise health.
The pressure in the installation room
may not exceed 4 Pa.

SPACE VENTILATION / OPERATIONS INDEPENDENT OF INDOOR AIR
5.3.6 THE PRESSURE IN THE INSTALLATION ROOM
Always make sure that the firing
chamber door closes properly and
that the door gasket is undamaged
and intact!
The supplier of the ventilation system
must ensure that the pressure does
not exceed 4 Pa.
6.1. DUO Module – GREATER DIRECT HEAT EMISSION (OPTIONAL)

When you wish greater direct heat
emission during the heating up and
burning down phases, simply open
the convection module all or part
of the way after igniting the charge.
To open, push the lever (A) back to
the stop until the desired position is
reached (max 45°). When you wish to
raise the proportion of radiated heat,
close the Duo Module all or part of
the way by pushing the lever back
to its initial position. When you want
to utilise direct heat emission while you are emptying the storage heating stove,
simply leave the convection module closed. Bear in mind that direct heat emission
reduces the heat storage capacity and causes your storage heating stove to cool
down faster.
