Step 4: Removing the Toner Cartridge
Label before Refilling (Part 1)
With the cartridge in the same orientation as
shown in figure 3, the toner hopper hole will
be placed on the left of the toner cartridge
underneath the cartridge label.
Using a flat-head screwdriver, included in the
ReChargX™ RX Tool Kit, pry up the label of the
cartridge and peel back the label to expose a
significant amount of cartridge surface (fig. 4).
Step 5: Removing the Toner Cartridge
Label before Refilling (Part 2)
Score the toner cartridge label using the edge
of the flat-head screwdriver. Remove the excess
piece of label and discard it (figure 5).
Step 6: The Toner Hopper Hole Location
You will be placing the toner hopper hole within
the area as shown by the white circle in figure 6a.
The location of the toner hopper hole must be
placed only within the area shown and no further
as outlined in figure 6b.
Failure to place the toner hopper hole within the
designated area may result in spillage or damage
to the toner cartridge.
