ically approved for this fan could result

Do not use water when cleaning your
ceiling fan. It could damage the motor
or the blades and create the possibility
of an electrical shock.

sure electricity is turned off at the main
service box before wiring.

WARNING
To install a Tommy Bahama accesso-
ry light kit, remove the two screws
securing the switch housing cover on
the switch housing. Remove the
threaded plug from the switch hous-
ing cover and install the light kit in
accordance with the Tommy Bahama
light kit OwnerÕs Manual.
Maintenance
IMPORTANT CARE INSTRUCTIONS
for your Ceiling Fan
Periodic cleaning of your new ceiling
fan is the only maintenance that is
needed.
When cleaning, use only a soft brush
or lint free cloth to avoid scratching
the finish.
Abrasive cleaning agents are not
required and should be avoided to
prevent damage to finish.

If airflow is desired in the opposite
direction, turn your fan off and
wait for the blades to stop turning,
then gently pull on the reversing
switch pull chain (the shortest
chain) and turn the fan on again
(Figure 15). The fan blades will
turn in the opposite direction and
reverse the airflow.
CAUTION: To reduce the risk of elec-
trical shock, disconnect the electrical
supply circuit before installing the
fan and optional light kit and/or
remote control receiver.
