INTENDED USE
CAUTION
This electric underblanket is designed for warming beds, only.
OPERATION
Safety
CAUTION
This electric underblanket is fitted with a SAFETY SYSTEM.
This electronic sensor technology prevents the entire surface
of the electric underblanket from overheating by automatically
switching off in the event of a fault. If the safety system switches
off the electric underblanket automatically as a result of a
fault, the setting is no longer illuminated even when the electric
underblanket is switched on.
Attention!
Please note that, after a fault has occurred, the
electric underblanket can no longer be used for safety reasons
and must be sent to the service address indicated.
Initial use
Spread the electric underblanket flat onto your mattress starting at
the foot end so that the cable entrance is located approximately
at shoulder height. The electric blanket can be used on both
sides. Then put on your bedsheet in the usual manner so that the
electric underblanket is between your mattress and the bedsheet.
CAUTION
Make sure that the underblanket is spread out entirely flat and
that it will not rumple up or crease when in use. Check its position
when making the bed.
We strongly recommend switching on the electric underblanket
approx. 30 minutes before going to bed and covering it with the
quilt to prevent the warmth from escaping.
• To operate the electric underblanket connect the controller to
the underblanket by plugging in the connector.
• Then plug in the supply plug into the mains outlet.
Switching on
To switch on the electric underblanket, set the slider for ON/OFF
and temperature settings to setting 1, 2 or 3. The temperature
setting is illuminated when switched on.
Setting the temperature
Setting 0: OFF
Setting 1: minimum heat
Setting 2: medium heat
Setting 3: maximum heat
CAUTION
If the electric underblanket is used
continuously (for several hours) it is
reccomended to use the lowest setting
(1) of the control to avoid overheating
of the user.
ATTENTION
• The foot area of this electric underblanket is heated to a greater
temperature than the rest of the blanket.
• The quickest way to heat up the electric underblanket is to
select the highest temperature setting of the controller, first.
