You can turn on the appliance by sliding out the movable part

CONSERVATION
Regular conservation and cleaning will keep your cooker hood in
good shape, and avoid any damages. Please notice to change the grease
filters and filters containing activated charcoal in the time mentioned by
the producer.
The grease filters

The aluminum grease filters should be cleaned every two months in a
dishwasher or by using soft wash.
To remove the aluminum filter release the lock and pull down the fil -
ter. After cleaning, a dry filter should be placed back in the hood.
The activated charcoal filters

The charcoal filters are used only in the ductless installation.
You can buy charcoal filters at home appliances shops or at producer
of the hood. To make purchase more easy read the type of your cooker
hood from the plate situated inside the hood. The plate is accessible after
replacing the grease filter.
