SELECTING THE MODE OF WORKING
The ducted mode

In that mode the cooker hood is removing the air outside of the resi -
dence. The carbon filters should be removed in that mode.
The cooker hood is connected with a duct system by an elastic or stiff
pipes which diameter is 120mm. You must buy them separately.
The recirculating mode

In that option filters containing activated charcoal are used to remove
odor and smoke particles from the air, before releasing the cleaned air
back into the kitchen environment.
In that mode the carbon filters should be put on.
The blower speed

The lower speed should be used in normal conditions. The higher
speed should be used when there is lots of cooking odors (e.g. greasy or
pungent foods require greater ventilation power than boiling pasta).
OPERATING THE HOOD
Safety instructions

When using the gas-cooker do not leave burner with no pot on it.
When you are going to take the pot of the cooker set the minimum flame.
Never leave surface units unattended at high settings. Boilovers cause
smoking and greasy spillovers that may ignite. Heat oils slowly on low or
medium settings.
Use proper pan size. Always use cookware appropriate for the size of
the surface element.
Do not use the cooker hood improper. It is for home use only.
