Plunge cutting
Place the front edge of the guide plate (1) on the workpiece and
switch the product on, wait until it runs at full speed.
Press the product firmly against the workpiece and plunge the saw
blade (13) slowly into the workpiece.
Continue to saw along the cutting line as soon as the complete
surface of the guide plate (1) rests on the workpiece.
Pocket cutting
Use the following method to start a cut in the centre of the work-
piece.
Use a suitable drill to drill a hole of at least 25 mm on the cutting
line.
Insert the saw blade (13) that is fitted to the product into the hole
and ensure it does not touch the workpiece.
Switch the product on and wait until it runs at full speed before
moving the product.
Cut out the marked section.
