Intended use
This tool is intended for cutting wood and similar material e.g. MDF
and chipboard, plastic and metal using the respective saw blade.
The product must be used with the guide plate laying flat against
the workpiece. It may not be used as a stationary product on a
work bench.
Stroke length adjustment
Loosen the guide plate release screws (11) by turning them coun-
terclockwise with the supplied hex key (12) and slide the guide
plate (1) to the desired position.
Tighten the guide plate release screws (11) by turning them clock-
wise with the supplied hex key (12) to lock the guide plate (1) in
the desired position.
WARNING! Make sure that the front end of the blade
extends through the guide plate for the entire stroke
length.
Do not use specially blades that are very short
or those with significant tilt. The blade must not contact
the guide plate. A blade that is too short or is tilted could
jam inside the guide plate and then snap, causing dam-
age to the tool and possible personal injury.
When cutting pipes or other materials with multiple lay-
ers, always ensure that the saw blade is long enough to
penetrate completely through the cut, otherwise the tool
may kick back (Fig. 6, Fig. 7)
