OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS

WARNING! 

Before using this tool, make 

sure you read the instructions carefully. 

Operating the router.     

Note:

 

Make sure to disconnect the router from 

mains supply before fixing any accessories.

Your  router  comes  with  the  depth  stop  bar  not 

assembled. Be sure to fit the depth stop bar on 

the machine before use.

1. FITTING AND ADJUSTING THE DEPTH 

STOP BAR 

(see fig1)

(a) Loosen the fixing screw, insert the depth stop 

bar into the hole of holder. (see fig1)

(b) Adjust  the  depth  bar  upward  or  downward, 

note  the  position  of  the  body  on  the  scale  and 

raise the depth stop rod by the required amount. 

Each mark on the scale is equal to 1mm.

(c)  Tighten the depth stop bar fixing screw.

(d)  If you want to make some accurate adjustment, 

micro-adjustment  can  be  made  by  turning  the 

micro depth adjustment knob. A full turn is equal 

to 1mm.

FITTING THE VACUUM ADAPTOR 

(see 

fig2)

For the sake of your health and working 

environment, always use a vacuum adaptor.

Use the two long screws to fasten the adaptor 

socket securely to the routing base. The adaptor 

socket is suitable for vacuum adaptor with a 

suction hose of 36mm diameter.

    

3. FITTING THE ROUTER BIT 

(see fig3 and 

fig4)

To insert a router bit, proceed as follows:

(a)  Press  in  the  spindle  lock  button,  loosen  the 

collet nut and insert the required router bit,make 

sure  the  “k”  marking  (Maximum  free  shank 

length line )is in the same line with the nut below 

surface.Maximum free shank length of router bits  

please reter to  router data table.(see fig3) 

(b) Press in the spindle lock and tighten the collet 

nut. (see fig4)

              

4. ADJUSTING DEPTH OF CUT

 (see fig5, fig6 

and fig7)

The depth of cut is the distance between the triple 

depth stop and the depth stop bar.

Router  bits  vary  in  depth,  the  triple  depth  stop
