Starting warm engine
1. Place the machine on a flat and stable surface. The attachment should not touch
the ground or any objects.
2. Set stop switch (A11) to

position (Fig. 30).
3. Set the choke (A7) to OPEN

4. Hold the machine securely to the ground with your left hand. Pull the recoil starter
handle (A4) slowly with your right hand until you feel a definite resistance and then
give it a brisk, strong pull (Fig. 29). Repeat until the engine starts.
After starting the engine
1. Press the throttle trigger lockout (A10) and then slowly press the throttle trigger (A19)
to increase the engine speed.
2. Check if the machine stops rotating when you release the throttle trigger (A19).
3. Once the engine is running smoothly, carefully lift the machine.
WARNING!
Always carry the machine by using the harness (F5) attached to
the machine. Do not carry it only with hands.
Stopping the engine
1. Release the throttle trigger (A19) and the throttle trigger lockout (A10), and let the
machine run in idle for a while.
2. Set stop switch (A11) to
STOP
.
WARNING!
The machine continues to work for some time even after the
engine has been stopped! Wait until the cutting device comes to a complete
stop before you put the machine down!
