Turning the ”Room monitoring” function on the handset on/off
Before turning the function on, it is necessary to store the monitor code.
1. Press the MENU soft key to display the main menu items.
2. Press the arrow keys to choose „Favorite“, then press SELECT soft
key.
3. Press the arrow keys to choose „2:Room Monitor“, then press the
SELECT soft key.
4. Enter the current base PIN and press the OK soft key.
5. Press the arrow keys to choose „1:Monitor Mode“, then press the
SELECT soft key.
6. Press the arrow keys to to select ”ON” or ”OFF”, and press the „OK“
key.
7. Select further settings. Or or press the key to exit.
Turn the ”Room monitoring” function off again after use. If the
function remains turned on, the telephone only rings once for an
incoming call (or not at all if you have turned the ringing tone off).
SMS, Email* and Fax*
Using the SMS menu, you can create, send, receive, and save your text messages.
You can also use the SMS to send fax or email messages (text only).
To enable the SMS feature, you must subscribe to the SMS service supplier and
set the service center numbers in your phone before using it.
• Services such as SMS, SMS-to-email and SMS-to–Fax are available only if
provided by your local telephone network.
• You can access to the SMS menu only when the handset is inside the radio
coverage of the base.
* This feature may not be available with your easyDECT XL 2 country version.
