With this menu you can access to several special functions: Walkie-Talkie, Room

Monitoring and SMS.

Walkie-talkie

Two handsets can talk each other like walkie talkies without engaging the line. To

do so, they must be set on the same radio channel.

Activating walkie-talkie

1. Press the MENU soft key to display the main menu items.
2. Press the arrow keys to choose „Favorite“, then press SELECT soft

key.

3. Press the arrow keys to choose „1:Walkie-Talkie“, then press the

SELECT soft key. The phone asks you to enter a channel number.

4. Enter a 4-digit channel number you want, and press the SELECT

soft key. The display shows „Walkie-Talkie“.

5. Be sure that your party at the other handset is set on the same

radio channel. In this case you can use your handset as a walkie-

talkie and talk with him.

The handset cannot be used as a phone while in walkie-talkie mode.

Deactivating walkie-talkie

In standby mode, just press the EXIT soft key. Your phone restores

the normal working condition.

Room Monitoring

You can monitor rooms, in which your easyDECT XL 2 is located, from elsewhere.

Requirement: The ”Room monitoring” function must be enabled on the handset in

the room to be monitored. The telephone, with which you dial from elsewhere,
